In the past Emigrant Eyes has had the honor and pleasure to perform for The Honorable, Michael Bloomberg (Mayor of New York City) and his distinguished guests when celebrating their annual St. Patrick's Day Breakfast at Gracie Mansion. Also we have the pleasure of doing many private functions and Labor Day weekend we are once again returning, for our 4th year, to The Newport Irish Festival in Rhode Island.

We have more exciting news. Emigrant Eyes has just been asked to perform on the Norwegian Star (Norwegian Cruise Lines). The cruise runs from January 27th to February 4th. Cruising the Mexican Riviera, Debbie Casey of Irish music cruises runs the 9 day and 8 night excursion and it has been in absolute success and wonderful time. See the website http://irishmusiccruises.com/contact.html for more details. We will give you more details as we get them. Come and join us and a host of terrific Irish entertainers!

It was back in 1997, in Fort Myers, Florida when Bill and Rich played on the same venue for the first time together. It soon became apparent, as they kept playing, they would someday put a group together of their own. While at the festival, they stumbled on the song "Emigrant Eyes" written by Murrah & Clark, which "The NewBarleycorn" were performing. The song had such a profound impact on both of them, it seemed fitting they would start their own group bearing the name in honor of their own grandfathers. You can listen to the song; it's the first track on their Debut CD "Emigrant Eyes." Speaking of the CD, Billy & Rich went into the studio to record their 1st CD together in the winter of 2002 with the help of their good friend, producer and arranger Jimmy McCaul. Released under the label of 24 Records in June of the same year, it is now distributed on Tower Records' web site: www.tower.com and search for artist "Emigrant Eyes." It is also distributed on CD Baby's web site: http://cdbaby.com/cd/emigranteyes

Much more lies ahead for the group, with the addition of Marek Dykta last year, originally from Poland, there is truly a wonderful mixture of musicality that each one in the group brings to the table and combined makes for a unique experience in their interpretation of Irish traditional music.

Our first CD is now sold out but you can listen to some of the songs on CD Baby here (first CD) But you can purchase our 2nd CD "Remember When" which came out in 2005. It is available at CD Baby here (second CD)

"On behalf of Emigrant Eyes we would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the years and we look forward to creating and sharing many more fond memories in the days ahead."
